What shipping options do you offer?
We offer UPS Next Day and UPS 2nd Day service. We also offer USPS Priority Express and USPS Priority service. Please contact us if you would like to use another shipping option. All shipments are fully insured and require a signature to receive.
How much does shipping cost?
All shipments over $500 within the Continental U.S. are FREE. We reserve the right to select the least expensive shipping option. Costs vary depending on the shipping option and where the item is shipped. Please contact us if you would like to expedite an order or use a different service. Additional charges may apply.
How long does it take to ship?
UPS Next Day service delivers on the next business day and UPS 2nd Day service delivers within two business days. Saturday is not a business day, so a package shipped on Friday by UPS Next Day or on Thursday by UPS 2nd Day will not arrive until the following Monday. USPS Priority Express delivers within two business days and USPS Priority delivers within three business days. USPS delivers on a Saturday, so a package shipped on Thursday by USPS Priority Express or Wednesday by USPS Priority should arrive on the following Friday or Saturday.
Actual delivery dates depend on origin, destination and post office. Our experience has been that time of year and adverse weather or other difficult ground conditions (including the recent pandemic) may affect delivery times. We will send you tracking data when your order ships so you can follow its progress. Deliveries may take longer to Alaska and Hawaii.
Why is there no USPS Priority shipping option for orders greater than $5,000?
Every shipment is insured for the full purchase price of the item purchased. In some cases it is impossible to obtain insurance for a shipping option if the price of the item exceeds a certain threshold. For USPS Priority shipments the threshold is $5,000 and for UPS 2nd Day Shipments the threshold is $10,000. Only available shipping options are offered.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
Please call for overseas shipments. We ship outside of the United States, but the customer is responsible for shipping and insurance as well as custom duties, taxes and any other expenses.
What is your return policy?
If you would like to return an item you must notify K.Mita Design within 10 days of receipt. When you contact us we will email you a shipping label that must be used to return the item. All returned items must be shipped within 14 days of receipt. The item must be returned in its original condition and in its original packaging. The full purchase price of the item will be refunded net of return shipping costs as soon as we confirm that the item is in its original condition. If the item is damaged a fee will apply equal to 50% of the purchase price. No custom or personalized orders may be returned.
When will I receive my refund?
We process a customer's refund as soon as the artist receives the returned item and confirms that it is in its original condition. Generally that should take 5-10 business days after the item is returned.
